Twitter’s #beerclub is a group that meets on Monday nights to explore new beers. We select a new, under-appreciated, or rare beer each week and meet virtually on twitter to share our thoughts on the beer.
Members of #beerclub come from all over the U.S. and we try to pick beers that are available nationwide as much as possible. However, since many of us are located in Milwaukee, we often pick regional beers from local brewers.
Occasionally we take #beerclub into the real world by taking field trips to breweries and beer bars.
This website will have updates about the chosen beer of the week, and other relevant information about events and beers of interest to the club.

My name is LaToya Dennis; I’m a reporter for Milwaukee Public Radio. I’m contacting you because I’m working on a national story for a show called Marketplace about the fact that more and more craft brewers adding canned beer.
I’m wondering if anyone from this group would be interested in sitting down and doing a taste test for me with a craft beer out of a bottle and from a can. I’m looking to get this done sometime between today (June 23 and Sunday June 26).
